Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic excellence and complements members' formal education by providing interaction among students, faculty, and professionals, and fosters lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct.
Beta Alpha Psi was established in 1919 to encourage and to recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting. Throughout the years, the organization has grown to include financial and information systems students and professionals due to the interrelated work.
Today, our purpose is to:
- Recognize and promote outstanding academic achievements in the fields of accounting, finance and information systems.
- Promote the study and practice of professional fields related to these disciplines.
- Provide self-development opportunities and association among members and practicing financial professionals.
- Encourage a sense of ethical, social and public responsibilities.
